dark secret

that's the name of this rose, given to me by my late mother-in-law, many years ago.
when she was battling cancer, i used to make up a small posy including some of the blooms, for my husband to take for her, so it always makes me think of her.

it's the perfect rose - exotically dark, (i have tweaked the colour a bit, but the outer petals are pretty much as they really are,) with the most wonderful, powerful scent.
