"Horsey"

Elizabeth aquired this toy from friend's Shona and Sammy earlier in the week. She calls it a horsey although it's a zebra... not too far off. She absolutely loves it! I just hope it fits in the car with all of our stuff for the journey home.

Today we went to a Thomas the Tank Engine day out.

We went on a steam train, and saw several of the "characters" from the show. At the end of the train ride, there was a park with rides, a magician and puppet show, a bouncy castle, face painting and lots of sweet stuff to buy.

We went with Katie, Robert, mum, mum's friend Cathy and her grandson, Zack. The two boys were a little older than Elizabeth and were both really into Thomas, they knew all the trains and they had a wonderful time. Elizabeth enjoyed giving the boys kisses and cuddles.

In the afternoon, Elizabeth played really well while I got us packed up. We head home tomorrow! I'm being brave and attempting to do the trip without a sleepover at my aunt's. We're still going to stop there so that Elizabeth can have a run around for a couple of hours. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly and I don't end up with a grumpy little girl in the back of the car.
