Lady Bug-Bird

I had a bit of time, therefore I could wait until the wind blew and the kids' windvane moved fast enough for me to try out my shutter speed settings.

At an insect themed party, I took my daughters to, last Sunday I found out it seems our red and black insects buddies are either called lady birds or lady bugs depending on which part of the world you live in.

Here we call them lady birds but that seemed to confuse my daughters, as they don't look anything like birds. So lately we have been calling them lady bugs.
