Standing out from the crowd

Mum's garden is looking lovely, particularly the new flower bed where she has reduced the size of the pond, an old concrete lined one which was leaking badly.

I was hoping to have a badger picture to put up as we have been out badger spotting this evening. Did get a good sighting of a youngster running along the top of the bank above us but didn't manage a picture. Also disturbed a group of 5 mature fallow bucks who were lying up in the wheat field next to the footpath, but they were too far away to get a decent picture.

Off to Whipsnade tomorrow so might get closer to animals for pictures but not quite the same as seeing British ones in theirnatural habitat.
