Neighbours

A little way from our house there was an overgrown garden that's been turned into a stable and runaround where this hossy lives with a mini hoss.

I always feel a bit mean when an excited animal comes over to a fence or wall with an expectant look and I don't have anything.

I need to remember to buy polos.

Polos used to be 2p!!! 2 pence! Do you know why we've all got so many coppers lying about in little piles round our houses? Because polo's don't cost 2p anymore.

I remember when they tried to sell little minty discs that they claimed were punched out of polo's to make the holes. That really worked didn't it...

I also remember when you could buy coloured ones that were fruity flavours and always stuck together so you had to eat 4 at once.
