Green Heron

I got off work early today and went to take Uncle John to run a few errands today. They won't let him drive and may never let him drive again, so grocery shop and I just take him anywhere he wants to go. On my way out of his place heading for home, this little Green Heron was just sitting on the edge of the lake. He's so cute. I also captured a Sandhill Crane at the same lake and a lovely little vivid orange butterfly

Very hot and humid here and has been all week - hard to stay outside for long.
