What do you do with the children on their first Saturday in Singapore?

Buy them night lights for their bedroom;
Feed them curry at the hawker's centre;
Show them where they will be going to school;
Spend an hour down the pool; and
Treat them to ice cream for eating their dinner.

I had quite a good day. The blip is on Emerald Road, inbetween the curry and the school.
