Rain on the water

Just given up on a walk along the shore as the rain was getting very heavy, and my daughter was really not amused by such proceedings.

As I had gone out for both fresh air and a blip, and having to forego the walk, I wasn't going home without a photo. The changing tide, a light breeze and pattering rain on the sea's surface made an eye-catching shot. And also freed us up to retreat home for a restorative cup of Earl Grey and an empire biscuit. Result.
