Eagle-eyed young robin

Helped John to lift some turf (rather a grand word for moss, daisies and blades of grass) from our front lawn (another rather grand word) this morning, and was surprised at how many worms there were. I saw this young robin get a couple; - easy pickings for its lunch today. Even although there was no red breast it was clearly a robin by its jizz. (A word I learnt on holiday - thanks Lynn!)

It's been a wet afternoon and no sign of the constant drizzle letting up.
