The Cynics View

Headed into town this morning to complete birthday present buying . That done I decided to head up the Royal Mile to see what nonsense was going on.

I am definately not a fan of The Festival and avoid all of it. The most I see is the rubbish that happens on the Royal Mile.

It is the season where tourists stot about and stop right infront of you. You get pushed and nudged in all directions just because there are silly comedians, jugglers, and magic shows that people want to see.
There are stupid 'acts' that folk put on to advertise their show , which you get pressured into taking a flier for, normally costing a fortune for something you really don't know anything about, and lasts 1hr max.

Then you have the people who lie in the middle of the road , and you don't know they are there until you are upon them.

I lasted 10 mins max, walked into the gardens for a bit of peace to read my book and have some lunch before getting the bus back home.
