Parikrama...

generally refereed to going around a shrine in circles. we had ours today - around the lake. we've planned and attempted an off-road loop around the lake a couple of times earlier but were not able to complete it. today, we were on a mission to complete the unfinished business. we quickly reached the spot from where we turned around last week. There were more surprises as we moved ahead. We rode by farmhouses, green fields stretching all along and countryside trails through thick canopies, much to the amusement of the locals. we did try a few trails that seem to disappear in the fields but each time we ended up at the lake. what surprised us (or maybe, not) were the area where we rode last week were completely under water. with the rains and water being released from the dam, most of these trails separating water will be one with it...

the lake has always been one of my most favorite places in the city since the first time I discovered it...riding has just taken it to a new dimension
