Damp squib or sizzle?

Our first foray out into the Fringe today - in the pouring rain. Mostly just sussing out venues for their vibe, and soaking up the atmosphere whilst trying to not get soaked ourselves!

Around about Teviot & George Square they've got lots of these awful patio heaters out - so eco-unfriendly. With the rain, they were sizzling and steaming - if you look in the top right of this picture you can see the heat haze!
