P.Y.O.

I've been saving the empty strawberry jam jars at work and we finally went to a P.Y.O. farm ( Fosse Fruits, nr Colerne ) today, to pick some strawberries to make jam to put in them.

It's so much easier than the last time I went ( probably a couple of decades ago! ) when the plants were on the ground. These were growing in growbags, raised to head height, making it very comfortable, quick and easy to pick about 8lbs in, oh, I'd say about 10mins.

These are the first 2 punnets we picked, then we did 2 more.

Sav's off on night shift tonight, while I'm getting out my jam pan!
