Wicked!

The diet will start on Monday!! It just had to be done - everyone who had visited Bath previously told us to visit The Pump Room for afternoon tea...so we did! As you can see, it was quite some tea but it was delicious and the surroundings were wonderful. There is a huge chandelier hanging from the centre of the ceiling and a pianist playing in the background. Amazing silver service....it was what I was born to!!!

The Pump Room was the place where the well to do in Georgian England would walk if the weather was 'inclement', it was a place for gossip! Jane Austen wrote about the Pump Room in a couple of her novels: Persuasion and Northanger Abbey, as she lived in Bath for part of her life.
