St. Andrews

Today we took the older half of the camp to St. Andrews. It's the first time I've been since the open day I went to there, which felt a little strange.

Some of the kids went swimming and others went to the beach, so a few of us leaders walked along a path next to the beach all the way to the castle, and back again. We then had lunch with everyone sitting on the path (which maybe wasn't the best idea, as we were a little in the way).

After lunch we walked into the town centre, told the campers when and where to meet us again and a few of us went shopping for about five minutes before we gave up and had a coffee in Costa. I sat in Costa for the remainder of the day because it was raining, and talked with other leaders and the occasional camper with strange masks and dalek helmets they had purchased ...
