A Peeling Gatepost
This is a near neighbour to the open gate that featured to some acclaim on Thursday, one of a series of gates at the moor edge that crop up in my photographs quite frequently.
Long time followers might recognise this as a fragment of Snow Gate.
Alternatively, it's just a rusty gatepost.
I nearly offered a precariously balanced Bombus pascuorum, but the wind didn't quite let me get a sharp image.
