My Life Is Not Average

It's all for charity ...

At Lendrick Muir today we had a mini-fair to raise money for this year's Scripture Union International Project. The project is raising money to help send kids from poor families in Crimea to SU camps. Find out more.

My group had a "coin slide" stall where you slid the coin you were donating across a table, and if you got it between the markers you won a packet of Haribo. Other stalls included paying to draw or write on someone, the memory game, bouncing a ping-pong ball into varyingly-sized containers, beat the ping-pong champion, sumo wrestling and soak the leaders. I visited most of the stalls, but I couldn't bring myself to throw water over anyone - although Callum, one of the trainee leaders, looks surprisingly content in this photo!

We raised around £250 for the International Project, which is quite an achievement. Well done LM6a!
