What a heap
Due to the untimely demise of my favourite willow, the time had arrived to get rid of what was left.
A handy man with a chainsaw was a huge help but then I was left with a load of branches in the garden for him to collect later today.
This lot was lugged round from the back garden to the front for collection.
As it was a public holiday from work I took advantage of the good weather and attacked the remainder of the garden. The climbing rose is now a stump. the privot is now a stump, the cotoneaster is now itself as it is horrifically jaggy!
We had to pay the guy more to take away the roses as they were lethal - it was like the entrance to Sleeping Beauty's castle trying to get thru our gate.
I have the thorn marks all over my body to prove it - and trust me that shot would not be a blip!
Work tomorrow - boo
