upside - added an airport express! My macbook has been crying out for this, I can now talk to my server somewhat faster than the speed typically achieved with 2 cups and a string.

downside - my local exchange is officially slower than 5H17! However... ETA for fixing the exchange is tomorrow (yeah... riiiight...)

8Meg broadband - line rating 7150 (I'm a stone's throw from the exchange)
Actual speed achieved - 758 - pah!

ah well, I can now stream movies off my server to my macbook (B wireless was a wee bit too jerky for that)
