Pickering Traction Engine Rally

Once a year the Traction Engine Rally descends on Pickering for four days and on the Saturday teatime some of the olde worlde steam-powered beasts trundle noisily into the town centre for a couple of hours.

If you crop the shot just right it can look like it could have been taken way back then (youth eating chips out of a polystyrene tray under a "HALF PRICE SALE!" poster just out of shot...).
