Poignant Memories.....

We are packing things up getting ready to move to Western Australia. As we were clearing some cupboard draws out we discovered these.

My wife's Dad was posted to Egypt during the second world war. on the day after he and her Mum were married by special licence.

These two telegrams were sent to each other on the occasion of their first wedding anniversary. There are quite a few on the same lines - but these seem especially poignant.
