1809 chimneys - designed by Nash
These chimneys are on an enchanting little cottage, one of several in Blaise Castle Hamlet that were designed by Nash for retirement of some of the estate workers. Two friends from Auckland are staying and we braved the showers to visit several venues in Bristol today. Last night we went to an open air production of Treasure Island in the street outside the Old Vic - terrific fun and occasionally very alarming! Here is another picture of one of the cottages in the winter
