Pantheon Ceiling

The Pantheon is a different type of building in Rome and I really liked the ceiling, hence the photo.

The Pantheon is a Pagan temple dating back well before Christianity and is one of the best preserved old buildings there because it was also one of the first buildings to be converted and used as a church when Christianity started.

This change of use safeguarded its future as the churches were preserved unlike other Pagan buildings that were stripped of there finery by the Popes.

Still more backblips to come, enjoy.
