When the weather gets rough...

On the mountain Ukselmapää the weather got a bit variable. The sun was shining in Ukselma and its neighbor Sollanpää. Between them is the Devil's gate, a deep and steep pass from Paradise Canyon to the valley of Muorravaarakka. Behind the Sollanpää under the rain showers there is Kuikkapää fjell. Behind that there is a border between Finland and Russia. Behind the border there are some unknown Russian mountains. On the Russian side the mountains look like covered with snow. The color is caused by lichen. The mountains are covered with the fields of lichen. On the Finnish side the reindeer has pasturaged all the lichen and mountains look different.
