200 Year Old Redwood

This tree is in the Sir Harold Hillyer Gardens in Hampshire. The gardens were mainly planted in the 1950s when Sir Harold bought Jermyn House with a garden big enough to plant his rare tree collection. However, this tree is the same age as the house, which our guide told us was 200years old, as we walked around the gardens today.

This was part of a weekend of birthday treets, another of which was full blip membership from my son Mechmedler which I shall be making full use of (once I get the link to work!)
