Rain does not stop play

After yesterday we were determined to garden. I was determined to rescue the rhubarb and clear out the nettles from the soft fruit.

Rain was around and about but we set to just the same. I cleared the weeds and we dug the plot along to and around the rhubarb, one leaf still showing above the muck.

Finally, the rain came with a vengeance and though our neighbours went home we finished our new bed.

This is the view from the shed. Can you see it's raining? Well, it was!

We finished, tidied up and went home.

The rain stopped and the sun came out!!

But there was cricket on the telly, Hurrah.

Then lovely roast dinner.
