Reason to be cheerful...

Lots of reasons today.

1. Another wonderful blue sky cold winter's day.

2. The city was looking magnificent in the low light.

3. Spent the afternoon flying around on bendy bike listening to Grit by Martyn Bennett and bought some books.

4. ....and the reason for the image. We live in a country where the First Minister's home (our Prime Minister) is not guarded by a policeman and where any citizen can knock on the door.

For all our moaning about the state of Scotland, this must stand out as a sign of truly civilised country.
