Coffee at church

Me with coffee at church is not an unusual sight.

Good service today. My dad was speaking on John 5:1-9 about the man by the pool at Bethesda and how God asks us, "do you want to be healed?". Do we want Him to help us or are we happy being stuck in our ways?

We need to die to our own desires and be in the place where what we want is whatever God wants for us. And often when we do that, He will give us what we desire as well because He wants to give us good gifts.

I really need to take that to heart.
