~Ocotillo Flower Stalk~


These plants will continue to bloom
for the next 2 weeks or so.
Although the individual flowers
only last a couple of days.
Just to see the hillsides covered
with these blooming desert plants
is a real treat for the eyes.
I have photographed these ocotillo before.
In there different stages through the seasons.
Please take a look if you are so inclined.

I didn't realize that I had photographed
this plant so many times.
Not surprising though,
it is a plant of many different perspectives.
