Clouds like Mountains

We took a drive after dinner, to enjoy the last hours of the weekend. The rolling hills, taller-than-me corn and spectacular clouds all banded together to make us go 'ooooooh!' and 'aaaaaaaah!' And we did.
Because the corn is so ridiculously high, I had to climb into the bed of the truck to get this photo.
Fortunately the road was deserted.
Fortunately it would have been worth it regardless.
Then, I got bitten by sixtygabillionandtwelve 'skeeters and one flew straight in my eye.

When we got home there were screeching cats and icecream for us. What a lovely ending to a lovely day ;)


ps. We watched Source Code last night. It was short and sweet entertaining enough to keep us both wide awake :)
