Rubi, Parma Heights, Ohio

I took a fairly long scooter/motorcycle ride with now-and-again blipper Carl today. I had never done such a ride before, always going solo in the past. It was pretty good - it didn't hurt that we rode in late evening and around and after dusk on a really nice summer evening, first through the Cuyahoga valley (and into the national park), then into the suburbs past numerous festivals, including the celebration of Parma Heights's centennial, featuring a Springsteen cover band.

Rubi's poster was at the centennial, right outside the library. As I took this picture, non-Bruce was wailing out the big ending of Jungleland, and it was all pretty great.
