ALONG THE POND
where I was, almost in the rain, hiding under a tree, taking some photographs of the heron and other creatures, it was the flower (Engelwortel)) that suddenly came in focus.
In the morning as we sat out for the beach, we returned in the downpour of the rain. But happily enough later the sky turned blue and we walked and swam in the sea.
The haiku:
Standing in the pond
The heron head down bowed
to the fish and me
And the proverb is turkish today:
One already wet does not feel the rain.
But then I prefered to return and get dry.
