Applegate Resident: Garden Snake

For the first time in all my years of parenting, I was very surprised to witness my 8 year old son Lewis crawl on his belly under thick cover of cedar trees to stealthy capture a snake. Even more surprising was his sister's insistance to hold the snake herself after a lot of begging from big brother.
