A boy and a bug

Gulli rescued a ladybird, it was on the pavement so he moved it to a bush :)

A day of getting bits and pieces done, I took the boys out on their scooters, we got a battery for my watch, bought some new books for them to read, went to the playground and also got some sunglasses fixed.

I had a row with a horrible receptionist at our local Optician which really impressed the boys, she very aggressively and rudely told Gulliver to shut the door and when I pulled her up on her attitude she started having a go at me, let's just say that I got very angry and so did she which made me even angrier especially when she shouted at the boys 'See what you've caused!' We will be changing opticians and I will be writing to her boss to explain why!

The good news is that we passed a new place further down the road, the man was lovely, mended Max's glasses for nothing so we will go there in future! Problem solved.

I explained to the boys that people who work as Receptionists need to be friendly, polite and helpful at all times regardless of how they're feeling and that that is part of
the job, the show must go on!
