Pateley Bridge

The main street of Pateley Bridge, a small village in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. J and I went for a walk along the river towards the head of the Dale and back to Pateley for a cup of tea and big cake!

There is a popular walk - The Nidderdale Way - 53 miles from Ripley up to the head of the valley and back to Ripley, encircling the river Nidd with Pateley Bridge the half way stage. I completed the walk in 5 separate stages a few years ago, lovely scenery.
