That'll Just Be The Beginning
21st July; a whole 18 days ago.
I had really thought that I would be able to Blip in a couple of days and show you a revived and beautiful Sunflower, but after 10 days, all we had was a very sorry, blackened, dried out and very dead Sunflower.
I moved it round the garden, tried all sorts of places for it, smiled at it, willed it, just hoped that it would come back, but in it's blackness it looked like there was no hope.
It was folded completely in half.
Then, on Sunday, I was standing in the garden, and I looked at it standing woefully in the corner. There was a kink in the stem that hadn't been there before. Could it possibly be?
It most certainly flipping well was.
It may not be the most beautiful sunflower in the world, but it certainly shows you that if you believe, if you give it time, it will happen.
