Lucy Fest-day three

Today was the last day of our long weekend in Jamestown, NY. We went to the two gift shops to select Hannah's many purchases (thankfully, getting her a membership entitled us to a 15% discount)! She was in in Lucy heaven all weekend.

Here is a simple sign from downtown, a tribute to the "first lady of comedy."

Before leaving, we drove around the area on our own to get the last photos of special locations, including the home Lucy was born, her childhood home in Celoron, the Lucille Ball Little Theatre, and her memorial park in Celoron for a picnic lunch. It's amazing to see how many of the side streets are still paved in bricks. We visited the cemetary site on Friday where her remains are buried along with her family. There were lots of flowers and notes left at the graveside in tribute to her birthday.

Back home 6 hrs. later, thoroughly exhausted.
