The Boy Racers Of Bernal
After a long trek to a slightly disappointing Wine Festival, mainly because I don't like wine and there's only so much watching other-people-getting-hammered that I can tolerate.
Though it was good fun wandering around on a scorching-hot day snapping away, becoming still more familiar w/the Beasht.
The controls are certainly not the same as on my EP1 and a lot of shots were complete duds while I failed to properly meter shots. But we'll get there eventually.
Afterwards we came back to Bernal for another lovely, leisurely evening strolling about and then eating in the same restaurant as the night before, where they once again served up some gorgeous food at really great prices.
The view from our table meant we had a commanding view of the Saturday night ritual of Bernal's version o fRiding The Strip, where many locals (all ages, not just the Young Bucks) drove relentlessly round a circuit of probably less than a mile, while blaring out Mariachi, Cumbia & Regaton on overly loud and badly distorting bassbins.
It was equal parts hilarious & intriguing, though I can understand the restaurant manager's weary exasperation w/the whole thing!
