MAKE A WISH - or 90!

Well here he is, candles just blown out and the wish being made.

Just before this we had the cake fountain (firework) in the cake - quite disappointing...or was it too windy?? I have 2 more so might try again tomorrow! Couldn't set it off inside incase the fire alarm went off.

What a fabbie day. "Prizegiving" and card opening this morning. SUCH fabulous cards - where do people find them? Such kindness and originality with gifts - personalised whiskies, dad's ancestoral tree, cashmere scarf, chocs, THE voice recorder (going to be a huge success!) and a new t-shirt and jumper for wearing today!

What a lucky boy! We had lunch at home as it was too windy to do the requested BBQ - will do so tomorrow. We were in St Monans for a walk this aftie - but the path to the Salt Pans and Windmill has been churned up???? Rather strange.

We had a fab dinner at home with smoked fish from EAST PIER smokehouse (up and coming big style...). SUCH delicious food. Yum!

Susan and I dog walked during the family phone calls and then we played with the voice recorder as mum chattered on about her past houses and co-incidences -JUST what it was bought for! Great success!!

Am quite knackered and ready for a good snooze! could do with a HUGE walk tomorrow from Elie to St Monans and back...not sure if the parentals could cope alone for that time - we'll see.

Off to Pittenweem Arts Festival tomorrow - one of my favourite events. Such a lovely village, fab people, exquisite architecture and crow stepped gables and sea inspired gardens with creels and boats. Fun and fab!
