Shame on us.

London lies in ruins.

Youth gone crazy. Selfishness. Greed. Misguided youngsters who fear nothing, clearly not the law and obviously not their parents. Years and years of a softly softly approach to disorder, disrespect and youth violence has come home to roost.

Shame on those parents who have allowed their children to be out on the streets tonight, despite the national plea to get them home, off the streets. Their number has simply grown through the night.

One 140+ year family run business burnt to the ground. 5 generations, 15 families reliant on income from the small business....gone.

Certain loathsome politicians trying to make political advantage and others proffering some socioeconomic justification for mindless behaviour. Great message. They want hanging.

Time to get hard. The PC brigade won't be happy. But who cares. Lives have been ruined tonight. Thousands. We need to bring back discipline and respect to the youth of this country.

The Olympics is here in under a year. OMG. Shame on us.
