Cabin, Day #1

Today we arrived at the cabin with just enough time to unpack a ridiculous amount of stuff and head down to the lake for a bit. Paulina Lake is not necessarily a swimming lake...quite cold (elevation is 6600 ft, and the deepest part of the lake is up to 250 ft). The kids of course don't mind the cold, and the seaweed and slime...well that just attracts more frogs and critters for them to find.

And of course Boone, being his first time to the lake, was in heaven. We couldn't keep him out of the water...chasing the ducks, fetching sticks, and playing with the neighbor dogs in the water.

What a fantastic way to start our weekend.
