IRON RIDGE QUARRY SCULPTURE PARK

Today I have been on a visit to The Iron Rridge Quarry Sculpture Park with my local Garden Club, to view the work of Raymond Herber who owns the Quarry Park and has his workshop there.
Steel is Raymond's medium of choice .His style of work encompasses a wide range of artisic creations from the extremely time consuming stainless steel sculptures to quirky kinetic steel pieces.
Raymond combines traditional and comtemporary methods ,integrating the use of the forge and anvil with more modern engineering techniques.
Raymond had just completed work on a life size shire horse that had taken him 6 months of full time work.
