Summer Rain

Still foggy this morning. While I was photographing this hydrangea in Post Office Square on my way into work, I was aware of the cheering and jeering of the striking Verizon workers as they paraded round the company's New England headquarters. Irony, then, taking pictures of flowers while real news events are unfolding in the background.

Meanwhile, London is rioting and the stock market dropped like a brick in response to the credit rating debacle.

We live in interesting times.
