Blue Lake Regional Park

with the advent of summer-type weather finally arriving here in the PNW...today our oldest daughter and Grands invited me to come to this beautiful park with them for the day. We had planned to get there much earlier in the day and enjoy a picnic lunch...but the clouds kept things cool and the sun covered until much later in the day. We finally made it out to the park around 2, with the sun peeking through the clouds around 3:15 and getting us warm enough for the Grands to brave a venture into the lake and then later in the park's water spray ground! All in all it was a most wonderful afternoon. Tomorrow starts "Granny Camp" where the kids come stay with us for the rest of the week.
