Edinburgh Art

Dropped in to the Art College this morning to see this sculpture by Anish Kapoor. It's made of wax, and the big black blade is constantly (very slowly) turning and scraping the surface.

Afterwards we went to the Scotsman (newspaper) Best of the Fringe event, hosted by Fred Macaulay (who was on great form) and featuring among others Dave Gorman and Camille O'Sullivan - catch her if you can, we saw her full show a couple of years ago and she is a brilliant singer and interpreter of songs by Brel, Bowie, Nick Cave and others.

Finished by having lunch at the Mosque Restaurant, which was cheap and cheerful :o)
