Shoes are the news

No brolly news today which is a refreshing change.

I have however been able to listen to dear Lauren Laverne most of the morning whilst picking my way through the news malaise and the need to brighten up my mood. This brought to mind my red socks and shiny shoes and the picture, whilst waiting for my dear son to join me for lunch, was born.

I like shiny shoes. I also like braces. The ones over the shoulder. I am not wearing braces. Maybe tomorrow.
