Defending the beach

Grandson Talpa and I have spent much of the afternoon upgrading the Castle defences on the beach.

Nothing much as changed since I was his age except that the bucket and spade are now made of plastic, instead of tin plate, and the Castle towers are defended by the Ultimate Aliens, Rath and Water Hazard rather than by Wilfred of Ivanhoe and Brian de Bois-Guilbert.
