south mountain

my dad and i went for a day long hike in south mountain (phoenix). there was very little shade to be found but lots of rocks and catus'. the heat was intense but we had lots and lots of water. my dad definitely proved he is in great physical shape for a .. dad... haha. the last mile or so back, we were pretty exhausted and taking lots of breaks. but a great day all around.

i realized when i got to the mountain that i had forgotten my memory card at the hotel. it's always frustrating when that happens. luckily i had my little point and shoot too.
