Pick a colour, pick a colour....

Went to Exeter today to have a look around the shops and was this in a stationary shop, and thought it was pretty colours.

I love looking around stationary shops, I like all the different books of paper, stickers etc. When I was at school, it was the cool thing to do to collect all these different coloured papers and stickers. I would have had a field day in a shop like this then. Now I still have a field day but I have no reason to buy any of it because everything is done electronically, writing, lists, photos and diaries, it's all on this. I do miss the paper, but we are just moving with the times.

I except in the future there will be no need for paper. Already my classroom is getting taken over with technology, with computers, laptops and whiteboards. We are expected to plan every numeracy and literacy lesson to include work on screen. We do all our input on the whiteboard. And I have seen that some affluent schools have iPads to write on.

So this blip is to remember and celebrate all the beautiful shapes, thickness and sizes of paper!
