The scent of summer

Summer has many wonderful scents but the one I love most of all is the scent of sweet peas. These are old fashioned sweet peas - not as big and bold as the annual Spencer types but they have a sweet charm.
Spent most of the day in the garden - the weather was most pleasant and peaceful - perfect for working outside. What a contrast to what's going on in our inner cities at present.
